In 1910, Georg Jensen (1885–1939) established a modern textile factory in Kolding. He collaborated with some of the leading Danish artists of the time, including Knud V. Engelhardt. As a family owned business, Bent Georg Jensen took over and named the company “Georg Jensen Damask”. He led the textile house with a passion for creating designs that balance craftsmanship and functionality.
The brand maintains high standards for both the quality and functionality of their textiles. They carefully select the best experts in producing the products and often collaborates with family-run weaving mills to support local businesses.
