The family-owned Montana Furniture has provided personalised storage solutions and furniture since 1982. The Danish high-end furniture company is based on the philosophy that every one of us has a need for freedom and a natural desire to create our own personal spaces. With Montana, you get endless possibilities and freedom to create a look that’s just right for you.
Every day, in a small town on the island of Funen in Denmark, over 140 professionals work hard to uphold the highest standards of processing, painting, and assembling – making sure that your Montana furniture will last a lifetime.
Nothing leaves Montana's factory without having been manually inspected and approved, ensuring that every Montana piece has the perfect surface, jointing, and craftsman's touch.
Since 2007, Montana has exclusively used water-based lacquer colours that are safe for both you and the environment. Montana's colour palette is developed by colour expert Margrethe Odgaard – the palette includes 41 colours that can be mixed and matched.
The Danish high-end furniture company was established by Peter J. Lassen, who also created the customisable modular Montana System. Today, the company is run by Peter’s son Joakim Lassen, the fifth generation of his family to work with furniture and the great-grandson of manufacturer Fritz Hansen.
All Montana modules are designed, developed, and made in Denmark, ensuring the highest standards for processing, painting, and assembling. The Montana System carries the Danish Indoor Climate Label, and the company was one of the first furniture brands in Europe to hold the official European certification EU Ecolabel.
